As a recent bride who married in the fall of last year, I know just how challenging it can be to find wedding shoes you truly love. The only way to start this post is by sharing the shoes that carried me through our wedding weekend. The elegant minimalism of a classically satin pump with a light slingback detail makes these perfect for a variety of locations and seasons. These beauties are a pair I own myself in black suede. The proportions are really gorgeous! They would be amazing paired with a simple, unembellished column gown to add a pop of sparkle and graphic shape.
Badgley Mischka Cher Crystal Embellished Pump
Inspired by the classic Manolo style, these are a very elegant shape (and price!) and are perfect for every type of bride…I can picture these with a gorgeous voluminous duchess satin gown for a city wedding.

I recently found this heeled sandal style by L’Agence and was amazed at how supportive the footbed is. It doesn’t look like there’s much in the way of arch support, however there absolutely is! I have them in black suede and would absolutely have purchased a pair if they were on my radar pre-wedding.
Aquazzura So Nude 85 Leather Slingbacks
I absolutely love the barely-there silhouette of the So Nude 85 sandal by Aquazzura. I wore the satin version with my afterparty dress and to my bridal shower. They carried the same silhouette of my wedding shoes through all of my other looks.
