As a recent bride who married in the fall of last year, I know just how challenging it can be to find wedding shoes you truly love. While there certainly isn’t a shortage of stylish shoe options, finding a pair that are comfortable enough to wear all day can be tough—and the last thing you want to be on your wedding day is uncomfortable. It is not worth it!
After attending numerous weddings and special events over the years, I’ve curated a list of tasteful and trusty heels that would be perfect to wear on your big day. So, without further ado, these are the best wedding shoes for every type of bride, season, and venue.
The only way to start this post is by sharing the shoes that carried me through our wedding weekend. The elegant minimalism of a classically satin pump with a light slingback detail makes these perfect for a variety of locations and seasons. They’re especially lovely if you have a gown that might catch on embellishment on your shoes (a real concern!). They often sell out but if you’re planning ahead, keep an eye on the website (linked below) and give the New York City boutique a ring 347-328-0080.
These beauties are a pair I own myself in black suede. The proportions are really gorgeous! They would be amazing paired with a simple, unembellished column gown to add a pop of sparkle and graphic shape.
Inspired by the classic Manolo style, these are a very elegant shape (and price!) and are perfect for every type of bride…I can picture these with a gorgeous voluminous duchess satin gown for a city wedding.
The Clarita Heels are a total classic and are so fun for an after party dress and also for pre-wedding events!
I recently found this heeled sandal style by L’Agence and was amazed at how supportive the footbed is. It doesn’t look like there’s much in the way of arch support, however there absolutely is! I have them in black suede and would absolutely have purchased a pair if they were on my radar pre-wedding.
I absolutely love the barely-there silhouette of the So Nude 85 sandal by Aquazzura. I wore the satin version with my afterparty dress and to my bridal shower. They carried the same silhouette of my wedding shoes through all of my other looks.
Talk about glam! The simply beautiful toe shape pairs with statement sparkle on the heel strap.
For the glamorous bride, another beautiful sling back option, the Babe Satin Bow Sandals feature a crystal bow detail that evokes a vintage vibe. I actually collect beautiful vintage costume jewelry and brooches from Etsy and these beautiful heels are the perfect mix of the past and the present.
These are extremely fun. That is all. I also love the lower heel height!
I have long been a fan of all Margaux’s shoes and this beautiful satin sandal is a supportive, elegant, effortless option for a bride any time of year.
