Spring Beauty Update: Three Products for Glowing Skin

I love talking to women about beauty, and I find that skincare and everyday makeup are questions that I receive most often on Instagram. You might have seen my Everyday Beauty Routine post from back in December, but now that it’s finally springtime in the States (and I’ve added some new products to my repertoire!) I thought I might introduce you to the products I’m loving for spring that I use to help achieve glowing skin.

The first addition to my beauty repertoire is Dior’s Nude Air liquid foundation. My makeup artist, Melissa Formica, has used Dior’s airbrush liquid foundation on me in the past which I absolutely love because it always leaves my skin feeling light and moisturized (important for events – I hate feeling stiff in my skin!). But I was a little unsure about applying that formula myself (since it takes a talented hand) but a beauty advisor at Nordstrom explained to me that the Nude Air liquid formula is very similar, and much easier for me to apply on my own. I picked it up the day before the White House Correspondent’s Dinner, because I was planning on doing my own makeup and wanted to make sure I had a product on hand to make me feel confident in doing my makeup for such a special evening. It was perfect all night – even in the rain!

Two other products I’ve fallen for are by Trish McEvoy. The first is her amazing new product called the Correct & Even Full Face Perfector, which has become my new concealer and her highlighting Luminizer Pen, which is the favorite highlighter I’ve found for me because it’s a cream formula (hello dewy!) and I brush it across my cheekbones and blend in with my finger to get a subtle glow.

Diorskin Nude Air Liquid Foundation by Dior (Normally $53 but on sale today at Nordstrom for $45!)

The Correct & Even Full Face Perfector by Trish McEvoy ($45 + a gift with purchase, yay!)

Luminizer Pen in “Luminous” by Trish McEvoy ($41 at Nordstrom)

I love the combination of these three products in concert with each other. If you give them a try, be sure to tag me @catherinepdv in your selfie so I can see! XO, Catherine
