I was so honored and excited when the team at Edit, now a part of Coterie, asked me to be the Creative Director for their FW18 show’s look book. Here are some of my favorite images from our collaboration!
The number one question I am asked about my career is, “How do you find your designers?” And my secret weapon is trade shows! I love being able to walk into a single venue and discover dozens of brands at once. Since my goal is always to find the most unknown brands, I love when I find a brand that doesn’t yet have a retail presence. Oftentimes, I’ll catch a brand on their first trade show season. From its inception, EDIT has focused on expertly curating a mix of rising stars and established brands in a way that helps all of the brands shine. Plan de Ville deeply admires the mission of EDIT and the show’s commitment to highlighting both American and international talent. Both of our organizations share a commitment to promoting the quality, vision, and talent of emerging designers, and have found deep synergies across our respective teams.
Plan de Ville is the company that I created at the end of 2014 to become online destination for luxury fashion by emerging designers. We focus on providing awareness and visibility for the world’s most exciting emerging fashion brands and acts as a source of unique and elevated product for women around the globe. I was tapped to provide creative direction for EDIT’s Fall/Winter 2018 look book, shot by Greg Swales, and I’m so excited to show you here!
